 The working principle of UV sterilizer: 


Ultraviolet light is an invisible light wave that exists on the outside of the ultraviolet end of the spectrum, so it is called ultraviolet light. Between -260nm, it is an effective sterilization band, and the wavelength intensity in the band is 253.7nm.


Modern ultraviolet disinfection technology is based on modern epidemiology, optics, biology and physical chemistry, using a specially designed high-efficiency, high-intensity and long-life C-band ultraviolet light generating device to generate strong ultraviolet C light to irradiate running water ( Air or solid surface), when various bacteria, viruses, parasites, algae and other pathogens in water (air or solid surface) are irradiated by a certain dose of ultraviolet C light, the DNA structure in their cells is damaged, thereby in Kill bacteria, viruses, and other pathogenic bodies in water without using any chemicals to achieve the purpose of disinfection and purification.

 Best use conditions for UV sterilizers: 


(1) Water temperature: 5℃~50℃; Ambient temperature: -5℃~50℃; Ambient relative humidity: not more than 93% (at 25℃)

(2) Voltage: AC 220V±10V, 50Hz.

(3) Drinking water: the transmittance (T254) of 1 cm of the water entering the treatment equipment: 95% to 100%; when the original water quality is lower than the drinking water standard (such as: the chromaticity is higher than 15 degrees, the turbidity is high At 5 degrees, the iron content is higher than 0.3 mg/L), first use other purification and filtration methods to make it reach the standard, and then use UV-C water treatment equipment to purify.

(4) Aquaculture water: fresh water and sea water after sand filtration or other treatment.

(5) Sewage: According to the sterilization requirements, the transmittance of the water entering the treatment equipment at 1 cm (T254): ≥ 40%; other requirements meet the second standard in the "Integrated Wastewater Discharge Standard" GB8978-1996.

(6) The water to be treated, if the water quality cannot meet the above requirements, should undergo appropriate pre-treatment, such as flocculation, sedimentation, filtration, etc., to remove various impurities in the water.
